About
{"ops":[{"insert":"Pamba Stephano Muyabi, a Tanzanian visual artist born in Mwanza and currently live in Dar es salaam, working professionally as a painter. My work focuses on the emotional and symbolic connection between people, wildlife, and nature, often exploring how these worlds exist together and affect one another.\nI specialize mainly in wildlife painting, and I have a strong personal connection to elephants, which I see as powerful symbols of memory, strength, and wisdom. They often appear in my work either directly or as inspiration behind the mood and meaning of a piece.\nMy practice is not limited to one style. I work through a mix of expressionism, abstraction, and more traditional painting techniques, and I also incorporate mixed media elements to bring more depth and life into my work. By combining paint with different materials and textures, I try to push my paintings beyond the flat surface so they feel more alive, layered, and emotionally engaging.\nFor me, art is about more than representation, it is about storytelling. My goal is to create meaningful, high-quality works that preserve stories, culture, and the natural beauty of the world, while also giving viewers a deeper emotional experience of nature and wildlife.\n"}]}
