Twin Blue Herons wall sculpture hand carved
Blue Herons are a favorite of this artist. Here is a set of Twin Blue Herons hand carved by California wildlife artist, Richard Vest.
Blue Herons are large birds common near shores of open water over most of North and Central America as well as the Caribbean and Galapagos Islands.
This set of two is very striking on any wall, up in stairwells, over fireplaces or couches carrying visually from anywhere in the room.
Each of these pieces measures approximately 23" x 18" and utilize white, blue, orange, and black staining with a lacquer finish. The wing comes out about 5" or so from the wall.
These birds are carved in Alder wood with brass plated/steel hooks on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.
All wall sculptures by this artist are for indoor display only, signed and copyright dated.
Additionally, a signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies each piece.
These two great Herons have previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a set with all the color, grain, texture, and movement of the original photo work.
Shipment is within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states
