The Great White Heron Wall Sculpture hand carved
The Great White Heron wall sculpture, hand carved by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest, is a must piece for the sea bird/wetlands collection.
Many customers who collect Richard's Flying Pelican, blue herons, and other shoreline birds, end up adding this piece to their collection.
The Great White heron, also known as the Great White Egret. is found in Asia, Africa, America, and Europe. The Bird builds tree nests in colonies close to the water and can stand up to 3.3 feet in height; wing span up to 67" wide.
This wall sculpture, carved in alder wood, utilizes a with a white and dark grey staining and mahogany for the beak. Finished in lacquer, the piece has brass plated hooks on the reverse, ready for wall mounting and like all of his work is for indoor display only.
This piece measures approximately 22" wide by 28" in height.
Each of these herons is an original work with it's own coloring, grain texture, staining, and personality. Each is signed and copyrighted by the artist.
Richard includes a signed Authenticity Certificate with each piece, a nice touch.
This wall sculpture has previously sold, however when you order Richard will carve you a great sea bird with all the color, grain, texture, and movement of the original photo work.
