Seahorse Wall Sculpture hand carved
Richard Vest, wildlife artist, hand carved this Seahorse in Tennessee Red Cedar wood.
He uses a Tung oil finish and attaches a single brass hook on the reverse, making it ready for wall hanging.
This carving measures 5" by 13.5" high and weighs less than 1/2 lb. It is for indoor display only.
Each piece has it's own coloring and grain making it a unique carving. It is signed and copyright dated by the artist. A signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies the piece.
The seahorse is a popular design with the public, fitting in narrow spaces where sometimes it is difficult to find artwork for that type of space.
This seahorse has previously sold, however when you order this carving Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, texture, grain, and movement of the original photo work.
Please allow 2-5 weeks for shipment to occur.
Richard ships within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states.
The Tennessee Red Cedar is a beautiful wood and the deep red heartwood tones of the
piece are set off with some yellow sapwood coloring as seen in the photo.
