Salmon Wall Sculpture hand carved
The Salmon Fish, hand carved by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest has beautiful grain tones.
The artist utilizes Tennessee Red Cedar as the wood choice because of it's deep red color and yellow sapwood streaks. The piece can also be carved with deep red tones without the yellow sapwood.
The photo shows the salmon swimming to the left. It can be ordered swimming to the right.
Each salmon carved will have it's own coloring and grain tones. A signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies each carving.
Salmon are native to the North Atlantic and Pacific oceans and can range in size from 20" up to 5' in length and up to 100 lbs.
This carving measures approximately 12" high x 32" in length, has steel hooks on the reverse, ready for wall hanging. It is signed and copyright dated by the artist.
Each piece Richard carves is for indoor display only with a tung oil finish.
This piece has previously sold, however when you order Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, grain, texture, and movement of the original photo work.
Please allow 2-5 weeks for shipment to occur.
