Rock Cougar Wall Sculpture hand carved
The Rock Cougar is a special piece...It is very powerful in design and the animal looks as if it is ready to jump right off the rock.
Hand carved by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest, this piece is carved in alder wood with some white staining, torched darkened areas and a granite like texturing on the rock.
The granite texturing is so real, it feels like real rock. The sculpture has steel brackets on the reverse, ready for wall mounting. The piece is finished in Tung Oil.
The Rock Cougar, measuring approximately 27" across x 39" high is a piece that fits well over a fireplace, hall way, vaulted ceiling, or above a couch in a living room..
It is definitely a conversation piece and suitable for indoor display only.
Each cougar carved has it's own personality and grain coloring with the signed copyright date on the piece. A signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies the carving.
