Resting Brown Bear wall sculpture hand carved
The Resting Brown Bear is a favorite to hand carve by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest.
The artist uses Alder wood because of the color, texture, and carving qualities.
The brown bear lives in the forests and mountains of North America, Europe, and Asia and
can reach up to 5 feet at the shoulder and 1400 lbs.
This wall sculpture is a great rustic piece for any wall, measuring approximately 16" x 23" about 2.4" thick.
The piece also has a coating of Granite Stone on the rock base, giving the effect of a real granite rock like feel.
The piece has a Tung Oil finish.
All of Richard's work is for indoor display only and each piece is signed and copyright dated. He also includes a signed Authenticity Certificate with each carving.
This piece has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, texture, grain of the original photo work.
