Raccoon in Tree Wall Sculpture hand carved
The Branch Raccoon Wall Sculpture, hand carved in alder wood, is a great piece for the rustic home finding it's way over fireplaces, couches, dens, or on any wall generating comments from everyone who sees this animal.
In fact, most people either love or dislike these mammals depending on the experience they have with them. They are a familiar site and are native to North America.
This wall sculpture depicts the raccoon up in a branch.
Richard Vest has captured the feel and personality of these little creatures by using a
torch to darken the characteristic mask.
Each piece he carves has it's own personality, grain, and look. Each is signed/copyrighted and a signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies the work. The piece in this photo has already sold but when you order, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, grain, texture, and of course, personality like the photo work.
This particular wall carving measures approximately 18" x 28", has brass plated hooks on the reverse, ready for wall hanging, and is finished in Tung Oil.
All of Richard's pieces are for indoor display only.
If the piece is complete at the time an order comes in, shipment will occur in 3-5 days. If the piece is in progress or carved for the order, please allow 2-5 weeks for delivery.
The artist ships via UPS ground insured, constructing a strong box, assuring safe delivery to your home or office. An email is sent shipment day.
