Raccoon in Tree Wall Sculpture hand carved

Richard Vest, California wildlife artist, loves raccoons. They are a neat animal, although some people think differently depending on the experience they have had with them.

This offering shows the Raccoon in a tree, hand carved in alder wood with darkened torched areas enhancing depth.

The Bandit-masked raccoon is a familiar site everywhere because they eat just about anything. These animals reach about 12" in height and 38" long weighing up to 23 lbs.

This wall sculpture measures approximately 19" wide by 26" high, carved in alder wood with a hand rubbed Tung Oil finish.

The piece has brass plated hooks on the reverse, ready for wall hanging and is for indoor display only.
