Open beak Pelican wall sculpture hand carved
This new Open Beak Pelican Wall Sculpture, hand carved in Alder wood by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest, is a must piece for the pelican collection.
The carving measures approximately 18.5' wide by 26" high with a depth of approximately
3" to the hangers on reverse.
Richard uses white and orange staining on the legs with mahogany wood for the beak finished in water based lacquer. Each carving has brass plated saw tooth hangers on the reverse, ready for wall mounting.
All of the artist's work is for indoor display only, each an original piece. The piece in the photo has previously sold however, the artist carves an order very close to the original piece although every pelican has it's own personality, grain, and coloring.
This wall sculpture displays great in a living room, dining room, hallway, or over a couch, aquarium or fireplace ....
Many customers will add track lighting on the fish and beak which generates many compliments and comments from visiting friends.
