Octopus Version 10 Wall sculpture hand carved
Richard Vest, California wildlife artist, offers this Version 10 octopus wall sculpture hand carved in Tennessee Red Cedar wood.
The artist loves to carve this wood because of it's great aroma when carving and the beautiful red tones of the wood.
This piece measures approximately 19" x 24" and about 2.5" thick to the back hangers.
Two hangers on the reverse make it ready for wall hanging. All of the artist's work is for indoor display only.
Richard signs and copyright's his work including a neat signed Authenticity Certificate .
This is a fascinating marine animal and one which the artist loves to carve. In fact, he has developed quite a few different
pieces with the octopus theme.
Tung oil is the finish of choice and Richard also utilizes a torch to darken various areas of the piece accentuating depth.
This octopus has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, grain, texture, and movement of the original photo work.
Richard ships via UPS ground insured constructing a strong box assuring safe delivery of you Octopus to the selected destination.
Shipment is within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states.
