Mother/Baby Giraffes wall sculpture hand carved
The Mother- Baby Giraffe hand carved Wall Sculpture in alder wood is one of my most popular African pieces.
These two carvings are also available individually but most customers like to purchase them as a set of two.
In fact, when they mount them high on a wall, many go out and purchase a tree or large plants which they place at the base of the neck of each Giraffe, giving the impression the animals are looking out over the trees, a quite stunning effect.
The Mother Giraffe is approximately 22" wide from ear to ear and 44" in height. It is a powerful piece and comes out from the wall about 8" including the steel bracket on the reverse. The Baby Giraffe, also carved in alder wood is approximately 14" wide x 28" high.
Spacing between the two pieces is the customer's choice...Each has separate brackets on the reverse, ready for wall mounting.
Each sculpture is an original carving having it's own expression. All pieces are for indoor display only, signed and copyright dated by me. An Authenticity Certificate accompanies each piece.
This set of giraffes has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you these giraffes with all the color, grain, texture, and personality of the original photo work.
This set of Giraffes is a wonderful wall sculpture for the African themed home or for someone who loves Giraffes, like I do...They are elegant animals and I have captured that feeling in the carvings.
