Mother Baby African Elephants wall sculpture hand carved
California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest, has a definite fondness for Elephants as seen in the vast array of sculptures he hand carves.
In this listing he offers a beautiful piece carved in alder wood with hard rock maple tusks. Each Elephant he carves has it's own personality, coloring, and attitude and this set is a great piece showing how the young elephant nuzzles up against the Mother.
This is a large set measuring approximately 34" x 35" with steel bars on the reverse, ready for wall mounting. This wall sculpture is for indoor display only and is signed and dated by the artist. It is finished in Tung Oil. It is about 5-6" thick
It is a wonderful piece for the elephant collector complimenting paintings, photographs, and prints of Elephants nicely in the Decor.
This original artwork commands a prime spot in the home, usually over a fireplace, or couch with track lighting applied.
A signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies the carving.
