Hand carved by California artist, Richard Vest, this piece is Tennessee Red Cedar with a Tung Oil finish. It has brass hooks on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.
The beautiful Blue Marlin is one of the largest Marlins and is native to waters of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. It is one of the most recognizable fish by everyone. It can reach up to 14 feet in length.
This carving measures 20" x 42" and the fin comes out from the wall approximately 7".
It is hand carved by the artist, signed and copyright dated. The piece is for indoor display only. An Authenticity Certificate accompanies the piece.
If you are ever in Pacifica, California, please stop by Nick's Restaurant on Rockaway Beach Ave in the center of town on the ocean. The artist did a large commission for the restaurant and over 20 pieces are displayed plus the food is great too!
This Marlin has previously sold, however when order, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, grain, texture, and movement of the original photo work.
He ships UPS ground insured and constructs a strong box assuring safe delivery to your home or office. Each piece is an original and each has it's own grain and beauty.
