Howling at the Moon Wall sculpture hand carved
This hand carved wall sculpture in wood depicts the Howling Wolf against a hard rock Maple moon. It is a very popular piece, by Richard Vest, California wildlife artist.
The wolf has a lacquer finish with grayish staining and the ground base utilizes Tung Oil for the finish. Both the base and wolf are carved in alder wood.
Clouds against the maple moon are torched in and the piece has brass hooks on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.
This wall sculpture measures approximately 15.5" Wide by 22" High.
This is a great piece for the Wolf Collector, looks wonderful on any wall, over a couch, mantel, or bed headboard and with the addition of soft tracking lighting on the moon and wolf creates a striking display
The piece is for indoor display only, signed and copyrighted by the artist, Richard Vest.
Each carving is an original and the artist works from his own original drawings.
