This is the second Flying Puffin version in a similar flying pose to Version 1 with different wing arrangement. Richard Vest, California wildlife artist has a fondness for Puffins ....
Puffins are an interesting little bird and the artist uses alder wood with black, orange, white, yellow, and red staining for the coloring finished with Tung Oil.
The piece is for indoor display only with steel hooks on the reverse, ready for wall mounting. This carving measures approximately 15" x 28", is signed and copyright dated. A signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies each piece.
This piece has previously sold, however, when you order Richard will carve you a sculpture with all the color, grain, texture and personality of the original photo work.
