Flying Brown Pelican Family wall sculpture hand carved
Richard Vest, California Wildlife artist, hand carves a beautiful set of the Mother and Young flying brown pelican wall sculptures.
The two pieces work well together creating a formation display of these great birds.
Carved in alder wood, with mahogany beaks, the pieces have yellow staining on the heads and a lacquer finish.
The Mother Pelican measures approximately 24" x 31" while the baby brown pelican is approximately 16" x 17" in size.
Each piece is for indoor display only, with a brass plated hook on the reverse.
All the artist's work is signed and an Authenticity Certificate is included with each piece.
Many customers will change the angle on the hook in back of the bird on the lead piece, pointed in downwards, as if it saw something in the water...this really sets off the display, although there are many different ways to display this set.
These two pieces have previously sold, however when you order the set Richard will carve you 2 brown pelicans with all the color, texture, grain, and personality of the original photo work.
Please allow 2-5 weeks for shipment to occur.
