Floating Sea Otter with urchin wall sculpture hand carved
The Sea Urchin Floating Sea Otter Wall sculpture is one of the most popular pieces Richard Vest, California wildlife artist hand carves.
This new floating otter is holding a green toned sea urchin, one of it's favorite foods to eat besides abalone. The piece measures approximately 10.5" high by 26" wide.
The work is for indoor display only with brass plated saw tooth hangers on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.
Richard uses a whitish staining on the otter leaving the rest of the piece natural alder wood using a water based lacquer finish.
Each sea otter is an original work with it's own coloring, texture, grain, and of course personality.
Each is signed and copyrighted. Richard includes a neat signed Authenticity Certificate with each carving.
This sea otter has previously sold, however when you order Richard will carve you an otter with all the color, texture, grain, and personality of the original photo work.
