Floating Abalone Otter sculpture hand carved

This is a great new Floating Abalone Sea Otter wall sculpture hand carved in Alder wood by California wildlife artist, Richard Vest
measuring approximately 24" by 14" high, about 2.5" deep.

The artist uses white staining darkening areas with a torch, lacquer finish.
Each piece is an original work, signed and copyrighted.

This piece, although already sold, shows how neat this otter is. When you order this marine mammal, Richard will carve
you a wall sculpture with all the color, texture, grain, and personality of the original photo work.

Richard uses a real abalone shell to give this little otter a feeling of clutching this shell so no other otter could get it.
Shells comes from the Cayucos Abalone Farm, Cayucos, California

Each carving has two brass plated saw tooth hangers on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.

All work for indoor display only.
