Desert Tortoise Wall Sculpture hand carved
This Desert Tortoise Wall Sculpture is a very popular piece at shows and on this site. Hand carved by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest,
in alder wood, the piece measures approximately 13" x 22", about 2.5" thick to the back hangers.
Richard utilizes tung oil as the finish. Each piece is an original with it's own grain, color, texture, and personality.
All of the artist's work is for indoor display only.
This Desert Tortoise is a great piece for over a fireplace, couch, hall, or entry way. Richard also includes a neat signed Authenticity Certificate along with each work.
This sculpture has previously sold, however when you order this great tortoise, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, grain, texture, and personality of the original photo work.
