Crawling Octopus Wall Sculpture hand carved
California wildlife artist, Richard Vest, uses Tennessee Red Cedar wood for all his Octopus wall sculptures. The cedar has deep red tones making the Octopus quite striking on any wall.
Octopus are cephalopods; considered the most intelligent of all invertebrates.
This interesting sea creature can hide in plain site almost instantaneously matching colors, textures, and patterns of it's surrounding.
The artist hand carves this piece in two sizes. Offered in this selection is the larger version measuring approximately 24" high by 44" in length by 3" thick.
The piece has steel brackets on the reverse, ready for wall hanging. It is signed and copyrighted.
Additionally, a signed Authenticity Certificate accompanies each piece.
All Octopus carvings are original works with their own color, texture, grain tones and personality. All are for indoor display only with a Tung Oil finish.
