Climbing Tree Raccoon wall sculpture hand carved
California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest, hand carved this wonderful Climbing Raccoon in alder wood.
He uses Tung Oil for the finish with brass hangers on the reverse, making it ready for wall mounting.
This piece measures approximately 20" by 41" high, for indoor display only. The piece in the photo has already sold, however when you order this carving Richard will carve you a raccoon with all the color, texture, grain, and personality of the photo work.

Alder is a good wood to carve and torches well for darkened areas.
