Brown/Black Bears Wall Sculpture hand carved
The Brown and Black Bear Wall Sculpture is hand carved by wildlife artist, Richard Vest.
Hailing from San Francisco, this California artist has a unique style of carving, far different from other carvings.
Each piece is an original with it's own grain, coloring, and texture. All are suitable for indoor display only, signed and copyrighted.
This wall sculpture generates many compliments from friends and visitors when displayed. It is a wonderful piece for the Bear Lover and usually finds it's way over a couch, fireplace or entry way.
This carving measures approximately 30" in diameter, 3" thick including the steel brackets on the reverse. The piece is carved in Alder wood, from Oregon.
The finish is hand rubbed tung oil. A Black and White staining compliments the black bear. Richard utilizes a torch to impart shaded dark tones in appropriate areas bringing out the dept of the piece.
Richard includes a signed Authenticity Certificate with each original piece.
This wall sculpture has previously sold, however when you order Richard will carve you a sculpture with all the color, texture, grain, and movement of the original photo work.
Shipment is within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states
