Bottlenose Dolphin wall sculpture hand carved
This Baby Bottlenose Dolphin is a great design by California Wildlife artist, Richard Vest.
He did the drawing for the piece first, then choose Tennessee Red Cedar as the wood characterized by the neat knots and wild red grain.
Finished in Tung Oil, the Dolphin has brass hooks on the reverse, ready for wall mounting. Each piece is signed and copyright dated.
The Baby Dolphin is a great piece for any wall, measuring approximately 11" x 24" across from tail to nose.
with the pectoral fin coming out about 4" from the wall.
The artwork is for indoor display only with the darkened torched eye, characteristic of all sculptures by this artist.
Note the artist carves this piece facing both right and left. Sometimes ordering the piece facing a certain direction is advantageous in the customer's decor so please let him know when ordering if the direction you want is different from the photo shown. (The dolphin in the photo is facing right as you view it)
Many customers will end up purchasing more than one piece, sometimes two or three, arranging them in a grouping with one jumping in the lead; a quite stunning display to say the least.
This piece has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a bottlenose with all the color, texture, grain, and movement of the original photo work
The artist ships via UPS ground insured...Shipment day a conversation is sent with estimated e.t.a along with tracking number.
Shipment is within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states.
Please allow 2-5 weeks for shipment to occur.
Each Dolphin is unique with it's own grain and coloring accompanied by a signed Authenticity Certificate.
