Blue Whale Mother & Calf Wall sculpture hand carved
The Blue Whale Set, hand carved by California wildlife artist, Richard Vest became one of the artist's favorite whales besides the humpback series...
The artist uses Alder wood because of it carves well and accepts the whitish gray staining well..
Richard carves this whale set approximately 50" in length by 19" high with the side fin coming out from the wall about 4" or so...
The piece looks great near an aquarium, sea themed home or any area where a neat accent piece of art is desired.
Water Based lacquer is utilized for the finish and the piece has brass plated hooks on the reverse, making it ready for wall hanging.
Each Whale Set is signed by the artist. Additionally, Richard includes a signed Authenticity Certificate with each piece.
Every piece has it's own grain, color, texture, and personality suitable for indoor display only.
This whale set has previously sold, however when you order Richard will carve you a set with all the
color, texture, grain and movement of the original photo work.
Richard ships via UPS ground insured constructing a strong box assuring safe delivery to your destination. An email is sent shipment day indicating UPS estimated e.ta.
Please allow 2-5 weeks for shipment to occur.
