Blue Crab Wall Sculpture hand carved cedar
This Blue Crab ,hand carved in Tennessee Red Cedar wood, works well as an accent piece for the home or office. Richard Vest, California Wildlife artist, uses a hand rubbed Tung Oil finish giving it a very real
feel to the shell and legs.
The artist carved this piece in a medium size measuring approximately 15" x 28" across the legs. There is a small and larger version also on the site.
Most customers will place this piece at a slight tilted angle like in the photo giving it a feeling of movement.
Richard receives many orders for this crab from the East Coast. A neat companion piece to the crab is the Atlantic Maine Lobster, which is also on his site.
The crab is signed and copyrighted- for indoor display only. The piece has two brass plated saw tooth hangers on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.
Each blue crab has it's own grain, coloring, texture, and personality. Each is an original piece.
Included with each work is a signed Authenticity Certificate, a nice touch.
This sculpture has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, texture, grain, and movement of the original photo piece.
Richard ships via UPS ground insured constructing a strong box assuring safe delivery to your home or office. An email is sent shipment day with UPS estimated e.t.a. along with tracking number.
Shipment is within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states
