Baby Sea Turtle Wall Sculpture hand carved
This baby sea turtle wall sculpture, hand carved in Alder wood by California Wildlife artist Richard Vest, is a very popular piece both on this site and at exhibitions.
The little sea turtle measures approximately 9.5" high by 19" wide with the flipper protruding from the wall about 4".
Each work is an original piece, the artist signing each work along with copyrighting it.
All of Richard's work is for indoor display only. This sea turtle has brackets on the reverse, ready for wall mounting and a beautiful hand rubbed Tung Oil finish.
Richard uses a torch to darken and accentuate parts of the shell and eye. The dark eye is characteristic of all of this artist's work.
Many times customers will purchase a set of the Mother and Baby but sometimes space dictates only enough room for the baby.
It is a great piece for the sea turtle lover generating many compliments and comments from visiting friends.
This wall sculpture has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a piece with all the color, texture, grain, and personality of the original photo work.
Please allow 2-5 weeks for shipmen to occur.
