Baby Puffin wall sculpture hand carved
This wall sculpture of a baby Puffin is hand carved by California wildlife artist, Richard Vest and offered
to all those puffin lovers out there.
A Puffling is a baby puffin that is incubated by each parent for 39-43 days. After it hatches the little
bird grows to full size in about 6 weeks flying off to islands searching for food while floating in waters.
Puffins are found in the North Atlantic coasts as well as Norway, Greenland, and Iceland.
This baby puffin wall sculpture measures approximately 10" by 13", approximately 2" thick with a black, grey, and white
staining on the piece. A tung oil finish is utilized and the piece has brass plated hooks on the reverse,
ready for wall mounting. Granite texturing is used for the rock area.
All of Richard's work is for indoor display only, each an original piece with it's own grain, coloring, texture,
and personality. Each is signed and copyrighted by the artist.
Additionally, the artist includes a signed Authenticity Certificate with the work.
This piece has previously sold, however when you order, Richard will carve you a baby puffin with all the color, grain, and personality of the original work.
Richard ships via UPS ground insured constructing a strong box assuring safe delivery to your home or office. Shipment is within the U.S. mainland, lower 48 states...
