This Adult Sea Turtle Wall Sculpture, hand carved in alder wood, has a Tung Oil finish with steel brackets on the reverse, ready for wall hanging.
The piece is large measuring approximately 25" x 44" across, signed/copyright dated by the artist.
The shell is approximately 2" thick and the turtle fin comes out from the wall several inches. The wall sculpture, for indoor display only, is accompanied by a signed
Authenticity Certificate. Each piece is signed and copyrighted.
The artist torches the eye dark, characterizing all of his pieces. In fact, many clients across the U.S. recognize his style of artwork with this darkened torched eye.
Richard admits this is a wonderful carving for a special spot, like over a couch/ fireplace in a living room, near an aquarium or to accent the decor of a sea themed home.
