Hoppy, Gene and Roy

When I was young, these 3 cowboy icons were the heroes of thousands of boys. On Saturday mornings, we'd all watch the TV adventures of Roy, Gene and Hoppy.
All three made popular cowboy movies in the forties. All three were smart enough to take advantage of the new medium ( then) of television.
