Spine of the Earth

If I were to imagine a place where giants once roamed, it would be in the land that the common folk know as Big Horn Mountains, Wyoming. Were they tossed there by some great giant in a time long forgotten? The shaping of the earth holds many mysteries. Here at the Powder River Pass Summit, a spiney row of rocks protrudes from the hillside. Is it simply stone, or perhaps something grander, like the spine of a great slumbering creature?
