Earth Nook

As I hiked the ravines near Old Man's Cave in Ohio, I followed the winding stream that was responsible for many a nook, carved from the Appalachian foothills. This one was well hidden from any apparent trails and pleasantly secluded. A small waterfall entered the overhang from the lefthand side, looking outward. The sound of the trickling water resonated within the cave-like overhang, creating a peaceful ambience.
