'Mare Di Colori' original abstract acrylic painting

Mari Di Colori, Italian for 'sea of colors', is an eye catching medium sized colorful abstract art painting on canvas art. This modern contemporary artwork is full of vibrant colors including bright reds, greens, blues and some lovely turquoise that really stands out against some of the darker colors.
The Italian name actually came about when I mentioned to my son that I wanted to think of a suitable title for this artwork, and he suggested an Italian name, so I thought 'hey, why not' as it's a little bit different. Sea of colors pretty much sums up how this artwork gives a feeling of a colorful and lively water scene.
As with most of my abstract work, during the process of creating this painting on canvas, I didnt have a clear vision of where I wanted this painting to go, instead, I just let the art flow and go with it, and it just works.
