The kaleidoscope of silence

In her work Kaleidoscope of Silence, Yulia Larionova creates a frozen moment in which color, texture and stillness are in a delicate balance. The light green background creates a calm field for an energetic central vortex, in which layers of red, orange, dark purple and turquoise colors merge into a bright circular motion. The thick pasty surface gives the painting a physical depth, and the barely noticeable linear strokes in the background gently emphasize the circular rhythm of the composition.
Paradoxical harmony is captured in this abstract work: bright movement in silence, tension softened by light, and chaos transformed into peace.
