Light in the Dark

The morning shadow from a tree was covering the lily pads on a pond at the Dallas Arboretum. In the middle of the dark shadow a single beam of light shown on a lily pad. The light illuminated the green of the pad and the details of the water drops. The contrast between the light and the dark accents the details and builds a bit of mystery.
