This original work is an exploration of nostalgia and peace, rendered in a heavy impasto oil style. The piece features a soulful depiction of Snoopy resting atop his iconic doghouse, reimagined through the lens of contemporary fine art. I focused heavily on the physical materiality of the medium, utilizing thick palette knife applications and visible brushwork to create a tactile, three-dimensional surface.
