What you eat becomes you

I mostly do all charcoal but to get across the message that I wanted it was necessary to use different media. Many have said that you are what you eat, but do we ever consider that what we eat becomes a part of us? That we may have the responsibility to honor and respect all that we consume. Not just food but everything. So that what we consume nourishes us. Without it, what we consume, will one day consume us. This piece is 24x18, it was made with charcoal, graphite, and ink and is sprayed with a protective coat to avoid smudging.
