A mother's love

Nothing seems more tender and comforting than a mother's love. Making this piece made me smile thinking of my own mother and the bond we share with our mothers as children. I'm sure many can relate to that feeling of getting hurt or feeling lost or alone and somehow, your mother's kiss can comfort all that pain away. This piece was made completely with charcoal and measures 18x24 and sprayed with a protective coat to avoid smudging.
