Sunrise

Needle felted with various wool fibers. Cadillac Mountain, Acadia National Park, Maine. This is the greatest place in the world to see a sunrise. It is the first place in the U.S. A. to see it because it is the most eastern point of the U.S.A. The focus for this piece was to capture the striking colors of the rocks and boulders created by the early morning light. This piece was so much fun because I could experiment with a variety of textured fibers.
