Modern Rites of Passage Number One: Good Times

This is the first in a line of sculptures designed with the idea of putting a spotlight on some of the less attractive common behaviors of college-aged students. All of the materials used in this sculpture were donated by two local liquor stores for the purpose of creating this sculpture. The focus of this sculpture shows an advertisement showing young, attractive people having fun while drinking. I have juxtaposed the figure of a person heaving into the toilet to show the other side of the partying behavior.
