Wild Steed of the Empty Mountains

Wild Steed of the Empty Mountains

The wild steed is not merely a creature of nature but a symbol of free will. When it breaks free and projects its emotions into the vast expanse of the world, it implies a resolute, irreversible departure.
From chasing freedom to becoming the landscape itself, from the dynamism of wandering to the stillness of taking root, from individual solitude to the solitary pride of coexisting with the heavens and earth—the imagery is vast with negative space.
It is only when the wild steed disappears beyond the horizon that true freedom begins to take root in the silence of the solitary peaks.
In my Eastern Aesthetics series, I have always emphasized the visual expression of natural weathering and historical traces: opulent yet rough, imperfect but ultimately full of vitality.
