Hail to the tree · Panel 2

Hail to the tree · Panel 2

I seek a balance in the composition of my paintings—an equilibrium between the emotional release of expressive brushwork and the rationality of meticulous detail.
The golden planes, composed of Aztec gold leaf, best embody the creative intent behind of Eastern aesthetics: the concept of yijing (vivid spiritual resonance), negative space (the dynamic interplay between void and form), harmony with nature (the unity of heaven and humanity), subtlety (beauty beyond words), and the passage of time with imperfection (the philosophy of wabi-sabi).

Regardless of the drastic changes around it, the ancient tree remains steadfast and serene.
Standing firm through wind and rain, it guards the temple's spiritual harmony, gathers the energy of heaven and earth, and protects the peace of the land.
People praise it, they celebrate it!
