CONTEMPLATION

Rich autumn scenery that is half real, half a product of my contemplation. Ten days ago I went out searching for an inspiration. When I found this place by the country road I sat there just to look at the scene for a while. The longer I watched it the more saturated the colors became. After realizing that I spent one hour just sitting and looking, I run back home and I painted what was imprinted in my mind. My contemplation has exaggerated the colors of the field to an unrealistic blue.
