Loon Ceramic Textured Wall Tile made in USA from a lump of clay CUSTOMCRITTER



This one of a kind textured Loon wall tile. It was hand built from a lump of white clay. I built the clay up for the mountains and the loon. I than scribed onto the surface of the tile.The tile was glazed and than carved down to the raw white clay, "scraffito" one of the worlds oldest techniques. Then it was decorated with a combination of colored nontoxic glazes.The water and the mountains are a special glaze that has glass crystals that burst and melt forming more colors and textures. This tile has a notch carved in the back for hanging on a nail. Custom orders and sizes always welcome. Shipping includes insurance.

All glazes used are non-toxic and food safe.
