I'm not exaggerating!
This painting must have been the target of at least five attempted frauds or thefts online. Why this work in particular? And not another? I don't know! Perhaps its subject matter holds a special spell for criminals—well, for the criminal, since I don't know if it's one person or several, and even less whether they are men or women.
It's quite possible they're being tormented by the devil and want the painting to cloak themselves in it, like witches with their robes, as is often said among art collectors, since it seems this is how some people use works of art.
Today I was thinking about what to write when another attempt to buy this painting, titled "The Conjuring of the World," arrived via email. It's surely a scam, as this painting has been highly valued by criminals. I don't know whether to reply or not.
Its price isn't much; the work costs only $0 USD.
I don't know if I should let myself be deceived by these would-be criminals and give them a chance to get the painting. Perhaps with it in their hands they'll be cured of their mania for stealing, or maybe they've already got the money to buy it.
They even go so far as to forge bank documents and the PayPal website itself. I know this because I already checked with PayPal about the authenticity of their payments, and they obviously told me it was a scam.
Anyway, this is the online art market today. I just wanted to share this with you and write a press release so you're aware, as I find it quite interesting.

Anyway, so you can learn a little about this modern world of art and cyber pirates—I think that's what those involved in these matters call them, "cyber pirates"—sounds good!
